This means:

requirements designed to protect the environment.

and natural resources and other sustainable business practices
within the company.
- We work in an environmentally responsible manner.
- You should notify your immediate supervisor, your local
environmental representative, or Global Safety and Environmental
Affairs of situations that are potentially damaging to the
environment.
Animal Welfare
Schering-Plough is committed to the proper
use of animals for research purposes.
This means:
- Always provide humane care and treatment to research animals.
- Require the same level of care in private animal farm
studies and at research institutions or contractor facilities
that is required at Schering-Plough facilities.
- Report any mistreatment or inappropriate use of animals
to a manager, the assigned veterinarian or any member of
the Animal Use and Care Committee.
