Government
Inquiries and Investigations. Schering-Plough is regulated
by governments throughout the world. From time to time employees
may come into contact with government officials responsible
for enforcing the law. The company cooperates fully with governmental
inquiries and investigations; dealing honestly with government
investigators is critical.
This means:
- If you receive a request for information from a government
investigative agency, check with the Law department in order
to ensure that all appropriate steps are taken to protect
our company's legitimate legal interests.
- Contact the Law department if you know or believe that
a governmental investigation or inquiry is under way.
- Do not destroy company documents that relate to a known
or suspected government investigation.
